KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday slammed Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairmen Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari for failing to provide basic rights to the people of Karachi.
Speaking to the media upon his arrival in Sindh’s capital, Khan said that PPP has been ruling the province for a decade but the party has not produced results.
“In 10 years, PPP has failed to even provide drinking water to the public. Tell me one good thing they have done in over a decade?,” Imran quizzed.
The PTI chief continued that according to a report, drinking water supplied to the residents of Karachi and in major parts of Sindh has impurities in it. He added that sewage mixed water is also being used by the agriculture industry.
Taking jibes at party co-head Asif Ali Zardari, Imran asked the former president’s son Bilawal to question Zardari on ‘how to become a billionaire without working hard’.
